This project required a 185m permanent lateral support system to retain a cantilever length ranging between 1.5m and 7.5m.
This was achieved by installing 217 piles ranging between 400mm and 750mm in diameter into hard shale. The full face of the retaining wall then received a flush shotcrete finish.
