We were approached by the Lungisani Indlela organisation to help repair their safe house for orphans & vulnerable children in the Amayoti community. A portion of the house had settled causing large cracks to developed in the walls and even separated the roof tiles. The safe house has 12 children between that ages of 5 and 18 years who have been rescued from neglected and abusive home lives.
Mega Pile installed underpinning piles to support the foundation and prevent further settling and then plastered up the cracks and reset the roof tiles insuring the building was watertight. The entire house was then given a fresh coat of paint much to the delight of all the children.
